My name is Adrienn Freund and I was born in 1979 in Hajdúszoboszló, a small thermal-bath town in the Puszta, in Hungary. Thanks to my sister I was taken out of our difficult family situation at the age of 16 and I was already in London looking after three kids for a year. This was a huge transformation of my life and I recognized how much potential there is even in the most difficult situations. At the age of 17 I had some hip-operations due to some development failure, and this was the time I recognized the power of mind and I started practising some form of meditation by myself. I finished secondary school with excellent grades and again my situation in Hungary pushed me and my heart called me back to London in 1999, where I met a beautiful couple called Suzanne and John. When I looked in Suzanne's eyes I had no idea what it was, but I was touched deeply. I was also moved by their love as husband and wife. Exactly when I started working for them running a well-being centre with therapists, they found out that John had cancer and he had about two months to live. I witnessed these two months and I recognized how fragile we are but how strong and we can bear a lot. At John's funeral everyone was in colours, and we celebrated life and being, John's friend told about John's life story and at the end he told us John's message: "Don't take it personally!" Ahh I thought, I also want to live like that. I had no idea how, but I also wanted to live and die that conscious. I prayed for a teacher. Funnily enough my teacher who of course appeared then, also always says: Don't take it personally!...or in other words there is more here then this person and its story. And just like Gandhi said: "My life is the message." I realised how important it is how I live and what I live for. After my prayer for a teacher, having no idea how that looks like in 2001 I went to Scotland to the Findhorn Foundation,a new-age community with organic garden, and I was afraid, I did not want to be in any communities but Suzanne's friend suggested it and I trusted her. And she was right, there I watched a video of Gangaji shown by a friend, and I knew that is why I had to go there, my teacher appeared. I decided to meet Gangaji personally and I also met her husband Eli, who is my Therapy teacher. In 2003 I went back to Hungary to live there again and I did a Master Degree in Philology and British literature and translation. At the same time I did what had to be done helping my parents and the karma became dharma. I have been meeting Gangaji and Eli every year since 2003 and have done the therapy courses that Eli offered, please see below. In 2011 at one of the retreats with Eli I met my beautiful husband Harald and we got married in 2015. Since 2014 I have been living in Salzburg with him and his kids. Coming into a family was not easy and it was rather challenging, but whatever the cost was it was worth it, because it showed deeper aspects of myself and what is always here and the love we share with my husband is unbelievable. I can honestly say, even from my own experience that there is always help. In this way I offer the tools I learned both in Leela-therapy and Yogapsychotherapy (more about that, under menu: Yogapsychotherapy), and I offer the silent and open space that I have recognized to be myself.

Adrienn Freund is a certified Leela-guide since 2012. Adrienn first met Eli Jaxon-Bear in 2003. Her longing to be a therapist had always been present in her life, and in meeting Gangaji and Eli it has got ignited in a different and deeper way. Later when she heard of Eli’s Leela therapy she was deeply touched and knew that she found what she had been looking for. She joined Eli’s Enneagram Retreat, the Lifting the Veils Retreat and the Three Year Group and became a Leela therapist in 2012. In 2010 she had her major awakening experience. She deeply dedicates her life to the ever deepening love and silence that she has discovered to be herself and she is grateful to be part of this beautiful work and to be able to support others with an open heart and an open mind through Leela therapy.
She organised two meetings with Eli in Budapest in 2010 and 2015 and was translating in his satsangs.
Adrienn has been living with her husband Harald Freund in Salzburg since 2014. Adrienn met Harald in Eli's satsangs and they are both dedicated to living a true life grounded in Love and Peace and to supporting the awakening of all beings. Adrienn continues visiting Hungary regularly and she offers Leela-therapy in her own country.
